The water-resistant film coating on all components creates a barrier against external contaminants, including liquids, bacteria, and viruses. Easy to apply and remove, the dressing can be worn for up to 7 days with central venous catheters (CVCs) and may remain in place for the life of a peripheral IV (PIV) catheter, according to clinical requirements.
