PleurX Vacuum Kit for Pleural Catheter System 1L

PleurX Vacuum Kit for Pleural Catheter System is designed to work with indwelling catheters and active vacuum technology, allowing patients to drain fluid quickly and comfortably without relying on gravity. The system can also be used in place of a chest tube to deliver talc or bleomycin for chemical pleurodesis procedures.

Designed to support at-home management of recurrent pleural effusions and malignant ascites, the system features a polyester cuff that promotes tissue ingrowth, helps reduce the risk of infection, and helps hold the catheter in place. A safety valve helps prevent air or fluid from inadvertently passing through the catheter.
